Job Description As a Security Officer - Lobby Monitor in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk professional at a retail or mall location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting tenants while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will provide excellent customer service, monitor entry points, and communicate important information. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Being at least 21 years of age is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, tenants, and vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence in the retail or mall location.
Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and/or visitor credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific guidelines.
Manage the front desk area, including handling inquiries, answering phones, and providing directions or information as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, coordinating with building management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unwanted activity within the location.
