Requirements
- MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
- PLEASE COME DRESSED IN BUSINESS ATTIRE CLOTHING.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR or first aid is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location.
- Verify identification and credentials for individuals entering the premises as required by site-specific policies.
- Assist with visitor registration and provide information or directions as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Communicate security-related concerns and observations to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
- Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with general needs at the front desk.
