Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
Monitor visitor, patient, and staff access at the reception area by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests according to site protocols.
Respond to incidents, questions, and/or unusual situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts when needed.
Answer phones, greet incoming visitors, and complete required logs, reports, and other front desk documentation related to daily security-related operations.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity by maintaining a visible front desk presence and following established post orders and reporting procedures.
