Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor management tasks, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet employees, guests, and vendors, verify credentials, issue access credentials, and report unusual activity or concerns in a calm, professional manner.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Support access control operations for an office location by helping to deter unauthorized entry, answering questions, managing phone and desk inquiries, and maintaining accurate visitor and incident records.
