Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk support at a technology and telecommunications location.
Monitor lobby activity, verify visitor credentials, issue access credentials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
Answer phones, assist with directions, manage visitor inquiries, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and professional presence at the front desk.
Complete logs, reports, and other required documentation related to security-related events, visitor activity, and/or access control procedures.
