Join Allied Universal at a professional utilities location where you will serve as the front desk presence, greeting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and supporting security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific policies, front desk procedures, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Monitor access at the front desk by greeting arrivals, verifying identification and credentials, managing visitor logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding authorized entry.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Answer phones, provide directions, receive deliveries, and support administrative and security-related reporting functions at the front desk within a utilities location.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining an attentive presence, observing lobby activity, and reporting concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
