About The Position

As a Security Officer - Lobby Desk Specialist in Beverly Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, providing excellent customer service while monitoring access and assisting visitors. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and utilizing computer or tablet systems. Requirements

Six months or more of security-related experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
Monitor access to the building by verifying identification, logging visitors, and issuing visitor passes as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance.
Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns in accordance with company and client policies.
Assist in emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
