As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and visitors, support access control and guest sign-in, answer questions with professional customer service, and document security-related activity with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Staff the front desk and control access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate area.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems and alarms from the front desk, maintaining awareness of unusual behavior and reporting concerns through the established chain of communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and documenting events per site requirements.
  • Complete required logs and reports, including visitor entries, deliveries, incident details, and other front desk documentation, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
