About The Position

As a Security Officer - Lobby Checkpoint in Woonsocket, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will monitor access, manage visitor sign-in, verify credentials, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. With an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, you will help create a positive environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Monitor lobby activity and control access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm panels; report irregular activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site staff and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
