Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control operations while conducting routine patrols of assigned areas. In this role, you will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at the location to help control authorized access, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual or unauthorized activity according to site policies.
  • Support logistics and distribution operations by screening arrivals, coordinating with site contacts on deliveries and pickups, and maintaining accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, loading areas, parking areas, and other access-sensitive locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
