As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and perform routine patrols to help maintain order. You will stay visible, respond to security-related concerns, and provide strong customer service through clear, respectful communication with employees, drivers, and guests. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Staff access control points and manage entry and exit for personnel and vehicles, including verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining visitor, trailer, and/or delivery logs.
- Support logistics and distribution operations by coordinating with onsite contacts regarding scheduled arrivals, dispatch activity, dock access, and restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications, reports, and documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around building entrances, yard areas, and the perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
