As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, remaining prepared for varying environments and conditions across the location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted operational areas.
• Support incident response by assisting with access control, perimeter observations, and coordination with site personnel and/or first responders during medical, fire, or other emergency-related events.
