This position provides leadership and support for the Security Department, including operational supervision of daily activities for Security Officers. The role involves training and coaching Security Officers, as well as performing basic Security Officer functions. The Security Officer Lead serves as a primary contact for security-related issues for both internal and external customers, assisting with problem-solving, issue resolution, and documenting unusual activities or incidents. Additionally, this role is responsible for providing training to hospital community members on staff and patient safety, and may conduct quarterly security emergency drills.
