About The Position
As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance issues.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help control access, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized persons and/or activity according to site procedures.
- Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, recording incidents, and following Allied Universal and client-facing policies for security-related matters and customer interactions.
