Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Required hospital vaccines must be obtained.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital setting that includes a morgue.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support staff and visitors during routine and unexpected events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing conditions and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, parking areas, and/or restricted spaces to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.
  • Document incidents, complete required reports, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns and ongoing activity.
