Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Required hospital vaccines must be obtained.
Must be able to work in a hospital setting that includes a morgue.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support staff and visitors during routine and unexpected events.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing conditions and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, common areas, parking areas, and/or restricted spaces to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.
Document incidents, complete required reports, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns and ongoing activity.
