About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Evansville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions that may impact the operation of the manufacturing and industrial location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
Document and report incidents or irregularities according to site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
