Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Taylorsville, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.
Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and/or Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns and incidents.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management to maintain a secure environment appropriate to the manufacturing and industrial setting.
