Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Team in Pawtucket, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with employees and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns as needed.
Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas as directed by site policies.
Support emergency preparedness drills and participate in response activities as needed within the location.
