About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Team in Coaling, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you will play a key role in supporting a secure atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, both inside and outside the manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to help maintain order and help to deter potential issues.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
