About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Team in Fort Collins, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings to appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining site protocols.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support a secure environment at the location.
