Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Shift in Amana, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. By maintaining a visible presence, you support a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns as they arise.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with site access and provide directions or information as needed.
Remain alert to changing conditions and potential security-related risks within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
