Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Newberry, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service while fostering a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following instructions and procedures.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance or information as required.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
