About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Belle Glade, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control as needed. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover assigned areas and respond to calls for service. Requirements

Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and the perimeter, as permitted by site policy.
Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests and deliveries according to site procedures.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems when assigned, and communicate unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift summaries with clear, accurate details.
Perform interior and exterior checks for abnormal conditions such as open doors, damaged fencing, unauthorized persons, or suspicious items, and report findings per post orders.
Provide directions and assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors while supporting a professional, service-oriented presence.
Coordinate with site management, dispatch, and emergency services as needed, following established communication and escalation protocols.
Support loss prevention and protection of property by maintaining a visible presence and reporting policy violations and/or hazards according to site guidelines.
