As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations with clear, professional communication. You will respond to calls for service, assist employees and visitors, and support site procedures with customer-focused service. Requirements

This is a primarily driving post.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services when required by post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and following visitor management procedures.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems when assigned, and document observations according to site procedures.
Complete routine inspections of doors, gates, fences, and lighting, and report maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
Assist with traffic flow and vehicle screening at entrances and shipping and receiving areas as directed by site policies.
Write detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, including observations from patrols and actions taken.
Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors to help resolve issues and support site operations.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies, including confidentiality requirements and any required personal protective equipment rules for the location.
