As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and established access procedures at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of production areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor and document security-related activity, including completing daily reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicating updates to supervision and/or site contacts.
- Control entry and exit of people and vehicles as assigned, verify credentials and/or deliveries, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
