As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Pre-Employment Requirement: MUST be able to ride a bike for long periods of time. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

Able to ride a bike.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns according to established protocols.
Assist with controlling access to the location and verify credentials as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations.
Support Allied Universal management and client representatives by communicating relevant information as needed.
