Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage access control to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities when required, following established procedures for the location.
