As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will focus on access control, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and following site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant information as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and report any irregularities.
Maintain logs and records of daily activities, access control events, and/or incidents as directed by Allied Universal and client site requirements.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response protocols, to support a secure environment.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address any security-related concerns or needs.
