As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. Control access to the manufacturing and industrial facility by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or visitors.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for any security-related concerns or hazards.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with directions, information, and security-related inquiries.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches according to site guidelines.
Work closely with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
