As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and permissions of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with the implementation and enforcement of access control measures, including checking identification and maintaining visitor logs.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
