As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and permissions of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with the implementation and enforcement of access control measures, including checking identification and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
