Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control Unarmed in Enid, OK , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will perform access control duties in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and helping to deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, contributing to a secure environment while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Assist with access control procedures at the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with site-specific policies and procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities and report security-related concerns.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific actions.
