Security Officer - Incident Response Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Incident Response Driver in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to site needs with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, backed by a caring, agile team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.
Requirements
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, tank and pipe corridors, utility areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
- Complete detailed reports and shift logs, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels where assigned, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
