About The Position

As a Security Officer - Rapid Response Driver in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver professional customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post, supporting rapid response, incident reporting, and access control while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Act 235 qualification is required for Pennsylvania only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
  • Monitor access points, validate credentials, manage visitor check-in and/or badging, and document activity according to client requirements and Allied Universal post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, office spaces, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol findings, and daily activities, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during the course of duties.
