Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and warehouse location where you will staff access control points, greet associates and visitors, verify credentials, and help manage badge and visitor logs using a computer and/or tablet. You will remain highly visible, conduct routine patrols, and report security-related concerns with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entrances, gates, and/or receiving areas by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing authorized personnel to the correct locations.
  • Monitor and document inbound and outbound vehicle and delivery traffic, including checking paperwork as directed, communicating with site contacts, and maintaining required logs and reports.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate personnel and completing incident documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
