About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hotel Lobby in Bradley, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet and assist employees and visitors, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and authorized entry procedures, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle logs according to site policy.
• Complete timely reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal leadership and on-site contacts.
