Job Description As a Security Officer - Hotel Lobby in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing a welcoming presence while supporting a secure environment. Your role involves monitoring entry points, assisting guests with inquiries, and responding to security-related incidents, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a hotel or resort location.
Monitor visitor and employee access, verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and emergency responders as needed.
Assist with the enforcement of property rules and regulations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel or management.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or site leadership.
