About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hotel Guest Area Patrol in Lincoln Park, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, visitors, and patients with courteous communication, clear reporting, and quick coordination with site leadership when concerns arise. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or donors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points by observing visitor flow, checking authorization where required, and directing individuals to appropriate areas while maintaining professional conduct.
Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate notable observations to supervisors and site contacts, and support security-related investigations when requested.
