Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials of guests, visitors, and staff as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting guests and addressing inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment within the hotel or resort location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards to the appropriate parties.
Collaborate with hotel or resort staff and Allied Universal team members to support a welcoming and secure atmosphere for all occupants.
