As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within hospital facilities to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Vaccination is required for work in hospital environments.
Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue settings.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within healthcare facilities in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
Maintain awareness of the healthcare environment to support a secure atmosphere for all occupants.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.
