As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while responding to various situations. This role includes driving responsibilities. Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • You must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
  • You must be able to restrain individuals as required in hospital settings.
  • You may be required to work in areas such as hospital morgues.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
