As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor assigned hospital areas by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors, patients, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication in a dynamic environment. Requirements

Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.
Assignment to hospital morgue areas may be required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment may be required.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at a healthcare location.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following established guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.
Support access control procedures, ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted entry to designated areas within the facility.
