Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrols in Concord, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as needed in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Assist with access control procedures, including monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and/or other urgent healthcare-related situations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
