As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and disturbances within the facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, security-related concerns, and/or emergencies.
Document observations and report security-related incidents according to site protocols.
Support emergency response activities and provide guidance to staff and visitors during evacuation or lockdown procedures as needed.
