As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor healthcare locations by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.16 - $18.16 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Requirements

A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing clear communication.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
