As a Security Officer – Hospital Support in Monroeville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a critical role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, supporting staff and visitors, and responding to various situations with professionalism and care. By providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you will contribute to a welcoming environment while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
Ability to work in hospital morgue environments.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations as needed.
Prepare and submit detailed written reports on incidents, observations, and any security-related matters encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as needed to support a secure and orderly environment.
