As a Security Officer Hospital Security Driver in Valencia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital environment that may include exposure to the morgue.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support hospital operations by helping with traffic flow, monitoring waiting areas and common spaces, and remaining prepared to respond to medical emergencies, alarms, and/or other urgent situations according to post procedures.
