As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Have supervisory experience.
Be able to provide vaccine documentation as required for hospital settings.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and screen individuals entering the healthcare location, following site-specific policies and protocols for admittance.
Provide excellent customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries from visitors, patients, and staff.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when appropriate according to site procedures.
Maintain awareness of the environment and report any unusual activity, concerns, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with enforcing health guidelines, such as mask mandates or visitor restrictions, as directed by site policies.
Document and communicate relevant information and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and site leadership as required.
