As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere for all staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as part of their job duties.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, assisting in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the healthcare facility.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with staff and visitors to address questions and provide directions or assistance as needed within the healthcare location.
Assist with access control procedures and visitor management in accordance with location guidelines.
