Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Rover in Rock Hill, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting, while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team. Requirements

• Be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are required.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals as required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and promptly notifying clinical leadership and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital corridors, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Support access control by monitoring entry points, checking identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and directing individuals to the appropriate departments while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives per post instructions.
