As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.
Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and healthcare site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted zones.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, supporting the healthcare facility's protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
